Unprofessional and Unauthorized Trespassing Incident
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding a recent incident involving one of your security consultants. On or about 05/31/2023, a representative from ADT trespassed into my yard without permission and proceeded to unlock my fence. To my disbelief, he left my fence door wide open upon departure, leaving my property vulnerable. I understand that ADT intends to address that fences and locks might not be as secure as expected. However, it is ILLEGAL to trespass into someone’s yard. As a security company, I expected ADT to prioritize the safety and security of its customers. However, this incident raises serious doubts about the professionalism and integrity of your team. Not only did this individual breach my property without authorization, but he also failed to close the fence door, putting both my belongings and personal safety at risk. To compound matters, I discovered a sticker placed on my security door, which ruined the paint on the door. I believe that ADT should take responsibility for the damage caused and take immediate steps to rectify the situation. I kindly request that ADT investigates this incident thoroughly and provides me with a detailed explanation of how this trespassing occurred and why such actions were taken without my knowledge or consent. Additionally, I expect ADT to address the issue of the damaged paint on my security door promptly. It is essential that your company demonstrates accountability for the actions of its representatives. I have always trusted ADT to prioritize the security of my property, but this incident has shattered my confidence in your services. I sincerely hope that ADT will take this matter seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. Your prompt attention to this matter and a swift resolution would be greatly appreciated.

I had a message via my key holder that my ADT alarm was faulty a major problem. I have been ringing ADT all day and night bur their phones are permanently engaged for hours or I am just being disconnected!!!!

Bait and Switch Service
They talked our association into getting the premium package so that if anyone had problems with an alarm sensor they'd come out at no charge. I remember distinctly when they gave their sales pitch someone asked "What if I have to replace my window or door?" They said "As long as the wires are available there would not be a charge". Otherwise they charge $105 per hour and they can't estimate how many hours it will take to do this on 3 windows - could be one hour or 100 hours. I'd have to have the rep come out and pay them to tell me how many hours it will cost. Insane! I asked to speak to a manager and of course there was no manager available but one will call me. I'm quite sure that will never happen. How can anyone do business without being able to give a customer and "estimated number of hours of service".....there has to be a typically it takes about 30 minutes per window but if they enounter problems it could take longer scenario. Every plumber, AC Repair, Electrician has always been able to give me an "estimated" number of hours to fix something. They are crooks! And to think our association dues went out by $30 for this terrible service.

I installed my adt alarm 2 years ago
I installed my adt alarm 2 years ago. Always have issue with it. First month low battery and continue as low battery. Call adt so many times but keep getting disconnected. My Alarm would go off and never get a call to see if everything ok. Its like buying am alarm from Amazon without monitoring. Call them to finally fix my issues and I was told safetree is my alarm person. They are the worst. I am currently paying bill in 2 months advance my invoice date for July service which according to them pass dues .so I have an alarm I am paying 2 months in advance, no monitoring by adt, cannot speak to someone to fix my alarm issues because I was told adt outsource my alarm and the worst part I under a contract with them for 3 years more . It is not worth it.

Adt Is horrible I was with northstar 15 plus years adt brought them out a nightmare one I switch wi fi service now the camera, s don't work all 4 I can't get adt to help connect the camera, s there tech ,s don't understand northstar equipment its been a week on phone with different tech,s no help someone comes out it,s 100 to come out plus 135 ever half hour this is a nightmare im paying with no service stay away from ADT ... can't even get a supervisor on line nightmare period. ADT is completely off base these days. Have an expensive system that they put in. Malfunctions continuously. Siren outside doesn’t work anymore nor does the doorbell camera or driveway cam. All installed by adt. Some protection right?? Even some of my friends in law enforcement discredit adt to do anything but collect monthly payments for adt employees themselves. Poor non existent customer service. Unreasonable flexibility for service calls and the apparent incompetent managers you have makes me believe you are as criminal as the ones our honest law enforcement folks deal with 24/7. Adt Is a sorry excuse for a legitimate security agency. Barney Fife has more credibility than your foreign based after hour answering service.;

Mazen. You believe in transparency, BUT you also believe in FRAUD, Theft, Dishonesty, Harassment, Lies, and NOT providing the services people PAID for and are NOT receiving. ADTs days are numbered, and you will go down with the ship! Count on it!

Worst service
Worst service, even worse customer service. Go with google nest, ring, or anything other than ADT. Don't waste your money. They left a huge hole in my house when they ripped out my old camera, took it with them, and never returned it. The camera they installed never worked. Complete nightmare!

ADT does not know what "no soliciting" means. We have a sign on our door and they still wanted to try and sell us a security system and we already have a system from another company. They must really be hurting for business to send stupid sales associates.

ADT PLEASE STAY AWAY…
ADT which hadn't provide proper service to my home in over a year was canceled and paid in full in April of this year. even despite the poor to no service I want to just stop the calls which were up to 10 times a day. an amount was agree to and paid on the same date as cancelation yet months later we`re showing up in collections with a bill they say we owe. this company just will not GO AWAY and only cares about money because the service is poor at best and everything and time you need them its a charge just to service the equipment they installed in your home. at this point I just want them to leave me and my family alone. I`ll send the information to the collection agency. showing we don't own anything. maybe with this being public record they will stop their bad predatory business practices. please go else where for service and where but ADT

I wish there was a way to give ADT no…
I wish there was a way to give ADT no stars. Before installation I was assured that I was only paying $99 for setup and the equipment will be FREE. Now that I want to uninstall after a month of having the software, they want me to pay for the balance of the equipment. This was absolute deception from the customer service representative I spoke to as well as the installation representative. I have never been so dissatisfied with a service like this before.

Never ever get Trapped into ADT.. they suck ur money.. if there is some technical issue they charge you $59 bucks to come and fix .. or else u have to climb up and provide Mac address and shït to them and won’t work and risk your life … this is really frustrating .. and these suckers lock me in 5 years ..

They don't even deserve 1 star. I spent and hour and half one day being transfered to 5 different people. I feel like they don't want to deal with you so they pass you on. I've cancelled my service based on their customer service. All I want now is a FedEx label to return my stuff. It's never been opened. Who ever is in charge of customer serves needs to be fired or re-trained. Those in customer service definitely need training.

One of my ADT sensors had failed and was constantly beeping. CSR tried to resolve the issue but was unable to identify which sensor had failed; asked for tech visit and was told would be charged: asked for a waiver as I had paid for a recent upgrade. The CSR transferred me to tech services, AND was told no waiver available: told him I wanted to cancel service. Transferred me to account management: on hold for OVER an hour and then dropped. I called back heard "I'm sorry, you can be transferred to account management again if you want to cancel." I said NO, and she told me how to disconnect my own system. Total MESS.

ADT Sucks
Why I gave ADT this rating is because I started having issues with my cameras not working all the time to give me notifications when we got packages delivered. They tried to fix over the phone but decided it was Xfinity's problem and not theirs. I my opinion they should have sent a technician onsite to prove it was the WiFi and not them as I actually improved my WiFi not long ago. So to not have to deal with finger pointing by the 2 parties I decided to switch my security service to Xfinity. However, when I told ADT I wanted to cancel my service, they told me there would be a $750 penalty for getting out of the new price I was offered about 3 months ago. Well, no one mentioned a 36 month contract when I was given the new deal. I guess it was in the fine print which we know most people don't read all the details. Needless to say, I was very upset to learn this but decided to end the service problem I would still switch. I new when they took over my previous carrier I would not be happy with them. Anyway, as the Green Day song says "Good Riddance". I received a reply from ADT about my review and they are they were correct the penalty for early cancellation was in writing. I am probably like most people when I get many pages of small print to read in a contract, I don't take the time to read it all. However, if the agent would have mentioned this penalty when I got a new price, it would have been nice. I guess being a customer for 17 years didn't matter to them. I just didn't want to get in the middle of finger pointing between the 2 companies involved in my security system issue.

I dont recommend any one go with adt theyare really bad company cameras are bad costumer service bad when something broke they have to charge it for it evan when door bell camera battery bad they have to charge you SO I DONT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO PUT THERE SERVICES AND CAMERAS

Terrible company
Terrible company. System was always down and it takes forever to get someone to come work on it. Although as an engineer and computer savvy person I could’ve done the work myself. They have password restrictions that allows for only their tech to work on the system. We switch to Vivint and they continue charging us for a year despite calling every month to cancel. They gave us the run around and even when we finally canceled they still charged us an extra month going away gift. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them.

It is very unethical way of communication I had with customer service agent this morning around 10:15 am. The agent with whom I had conversation was very arrogant. I asked him to speak louder because he was speaking with a very low tone. Finally I asked him to connect me to his manager, he rather chose to stop the conversation.

Awful!!!
Awful!!!! When they sign you up, they are nice, but when you need help or a question - there is no one to help! The Customer service is terrible as they don’t listen to the issue. I have a security camera that hasn’t worked for over a year. They took me through all the virtual steps to resolve the issue but it hasn’t been resolved till this day! I can’t get a hold of anyone live on the phone, let alone have a tech come and check the issue! I pay enough for a tech to come and see what the problem is! I have tried everything suggested by them and by others on line! It’s frustrating and I will cancel my account! Hope you think twice before signing up with ADT!

The only protection I seem to need is from adt themselves. These people just take money off your card whenever they want without you knowing about it. I called them the first time they did a unauthorized payment and asked for my card to be removed. Not only did they not remove card they took more money out . Unauthorized money. Adt is a stone cold criminal they think they can do what they want.

Totally messed up my order!!! Been on the phone with them to correct the problem or cancel and have been on the phone with ADT for a total 8 1/2 hrs!!!! Mostly on hold!!!! 8 1/2 hrs!!!! Can you do that?? THEY LOVE TO HANG UP ON YA TOO!!! I first called at 10:00 this morning and it is 6:30 now. They just keep transferring me in circles I don't like being circle jerked around. ADT representatives have no idea how to do much at all and are totally untrainedl!!! They are very RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, ARGUMENTATIVE AND UNWILLING TO HELP IN ANY WAY!! They treat the customer as if they are wrong and do not allow you to speak. If they can't get an order right or even allow me to speak with anyone in the correct department, then how can they protect my home??? I'm still being transferred and it's now 7:00 pm!! The whole ADT Team definitely needs to be fired and a team that is properly trained reestablished. TERRIBLE!!! Situation; I purchased their system with 2 day shipping because I am leaving out of town in 5 days for two weeks and need protection due to living in a bad area. 2-day shipping mind you. The sales representative guaranteed and promised me that it will arrive in two days and that is the reason I placed my order. I checked my tracking and it was shipped ground and will arrive in 5 days!!! The day I have to leave.. what???? I still have to install the system and set it up!!! That ain't going to work. So if anyone wants a free ADT system, it will be waiting for you outside my door for two weeks.!! Upon trying to cancel the order or at least have them send another system over night so that I receive it in time to install and setup, I have wasted a complete day (9 hrs so far) and still being transferred in circles. If you value your time, call Simply Safe or an actual reputable company.. ADT has no idea what's going on.!!! But if you do decide to call ADT be prepared to communicate in another language because most reps that I talked to are from another country. I have never had such bad service in my entire life (and I mean that).... still on hold..... I have gone in circles for 9 hrs now!!! It is now 7:00pm

They canceled my account without my consent
They canceled my account without my consent claiming that I had called to cancel 2 months earlier because of a financial hardship. This is impossible because my payments are auto debited and I had never once missed a payment. Since I set up the service 2yrs ago I have never once spoken to the customer service department before this issue. They told me they were going to re-instate my services and reverse the bill but low and behold they told me that because my home was pending sale they could not re-instate it. They wanted me to pay early termination fees. After talking to 6 representatives in one day they finally assured me that it would be re-instated. Imagine my shock when I called to schedule termination because I finally decided not to move with them and they said my account had already been canceled. Some mistakes are unforgivable and this is one that has not only occurred once but 3 times. They never gave me an answer as to who canceled my account or who they spoke to. They only offered a maybe someone had my online password excuse. How??? I didn't even have an online account at the time. What if someone was trying to cancel my account to rob me? How do you expect me to feel safe? Now I don't feel safe and don't want your service that you haven't even been providing but charging me for. How can you charge early termination fees for an account you canceled yourself?
