I should’ve yielded to the red flag the day of installation. When the gentleman informed us that we would lose the promotional discount credit if he were to allow my wife and I more time to discuss (because I was at work), I should have went with my gut and said no thank you. That moment foreshadowed ADT’s priority of financial gain over reliable equipment and service/maintenance quality.
At the time of our walkthrough appointment, we had just purchased our first home and were expecting a child in one month. We signed that contract trusting your company to help protect our first home and first born. After completing the first of an expensive three year contract, my wife and I are willing take on credit card debt to buy out of this contract with the devil and invest in another company.
At best, we have a very expensive beeper. With $2,000+ in equipment, a 70% contract cancellation fee, and a $125 service fee every time the WiFi goes out, you’d think that the home security company would at least call YOU when your alarm goes off since their not going to contact the local authorities. The doorbell camera is the only camera we have but it doesn’t work and we already owe so much money in contactual obligation that it’s sheer insanity to pay for a persons entire workday in wages to resolve a potential WIFI ISSUE.
In summation, it’s painfully clear that your company prioritizes its profits over the lives of your customers.

This is the Email I sent ADT today. This is where I stand with ADT.... I think this Email from me to them pains an accurate picture.
I talked with your offices yesterday. You are herby forbidden to contact me or my wife in anyway. This includes by any phone, any email, any US mail, Personal messaging of any kind, or any other traditional or future communication methods.
Leave us alone, I only agreed to my previous commitment after being blackmailed and threatened by your 'support personnel'. I am no longer bound by any contract or agreement after fulfilling the commitment mentioned above.
We haven't even used any alarm related to your company for a very long time.
If you have any evidence to the contrary, you're lying. If you bother me in any way, you will be harassing me. It's people like you who have made this pandemic even worse for people like us. It's bad enough without you trying to take advantage of us by threatening any 'past due payments.
I am disabled, as is my wife of 35 years. We are unsuccessfully trying to trying to exist on a whopping 24K per year, and you have another thing comming if you try and steal or connive your way into making our life any harder than it is. If I had the resources, I would hire a REAL security service and have them report you to the authorities.
I am so aggravated with this company
I am so aggravated with this company. My contract was up a few months ago and I unfortunately let them talk me into renewing, so thankful for just 1 year.. My system is getting old and the batteries are dying. The sensors are so old that they crack when you take them off to replace batteries ( that you have to buy) now they want to send someone out to replace the sensors and charge over a hundred dollars each for them. All I need is to replace the cap… NO WAY !!! Cant wait til my contract is up. I will not give them one more penny of my money, even if the system is unusable for the rest of the contract..
Poor service
Poor service, company never has engineers available. Called several times but call out keeps getting accepted and cancelled but i'm never informed. Had issue last year too. Too the company around 5 months after chasing to respond.
Very poor service
1. Had my system installed at business 9years ago with promise of great customer service if something needed worked on. They failed completely on this one. The three times I called because of battery failure, there response, was to buy a new battery and install it.
2. Called to ask at the 5 year point why I was paying almost $30, when companies like simply safe were 1/2 the cost.. After giving me some sales diatribe regarding there service, I told them I wanted to cancel. There solution provide monitoring at $16 per month.
3. After nine years of poor service there sales push was on to go with a wireless upgrade, because of tower conversion. The cell provider in this are said they were required to maintain the 3G service indefinitely. I went with simply safe because of good reviews. Now instead of 1 motion detector, two window being monitored. I have 5 windows, two doors, motion detectors 2 video monitors with monitoring that is the same as ADT
4. Called today 30 Sept 2021 to cancel and the first customer service rep got my information asked me what I needed help with, and after telling him he hung up. Called back, The 2nd customer service rep spent 15 minutes trying to convince me how good there service was and finally did process my cancellation. She informed me the system would stop working and told me I had to pay an addition month to cancel i.e. its my 30 day notice. Interestingly enough when I got to the garage 4 hours later the system is already shut off. So much for 3G doesn't work any more.
5. The only good thing about the service is the monitoring in that they were effective at calling us and notifying the local sheriff department if an alarm was set off and they didn't reach us.

I cancelled my service in August after being transferred to 4 different people and being on the phone 47 minutes. They then billed me in September I had to call back talked to someone and was put on hold for 23 minutes and then hung up on. Called back waited 10 minutes talked with Jalisa she said I shouldn’t have been charged submitted refund which I received on 09/23. Today 09/30 received a letter stating I owed them 2 months and that they were drafting out of my account. Waited 5 minutes to talk to someone who said they never closed the account in August transferred me again now I’ve been on hold 20 minutes. Just got off the phone with Carol the third person on this 36 minute call. We’ll see if they got it right this time!
IN HOME SALES, YOU CAN CANCEL IN 3 DAYS. DO IT!!!!
I signed a 3 yr contract and just canceled it this month. I was 2 years into the contract. Signed up in Oct 2019, had the worst install. It took 2 guys all day to do an install, and they damaged my house. The equipment is older, bigger, and not user-friendly.
I had them come out to fix the doorbell camera several times. The last time they came the 2 clowns that tried to fix it did not. I had enough and canceled my business account and canceled my house account. I was told I would only owe $264.00. I got the bill and it is $554.18. The extra was a termination fee. I asked for some kind of refund on the equipment not working and was told: "I cannot do that". I cannot believe how they mislead their customers. I thought they were a good reliable company, but they are not.
Their equipment does not work. When they did the install the guy tested it did not work. They said they will be back in 3 days to replace a part. GUESS WHAT..... THEY NEVER CAME BACK. HOW CONVENIENT. In the State of Florida, if a company comes into your home to sell you something, you have 3 days to cancel. MY 3 DAYS WERE UP SO I COULD NOT TELL THEM TO TAKE THEIR CRAP OUT OF MY HOUSE. I was told "No", I would have to pay $1365.00 to cancel on top of the $985 for the install that I paid at install. They are not trustworthy company.

DO NOT USE ADT!!! I've been with ADT for seven years and their service has been terrible. Two weeks ago I scheduled the 5G upgrade for an 8:00-noon time slot. I rearranged my appts and called at 8:00 to confirm the arrival time and was told mid-morning. Around noon no one arrived so I called and was told that the installer wouldn't be arriving! They rescheduled for two weeks later for a Noon-4:00pm slot. I called in the AM to confirm and was told that I had no appt! Another wasted day! And they wanted to reschedule! Yea, right!
Interestingly, at the same time I called for a new ADT installation and they said someone would be here in three days. They offer a 90 day warranty and will lock you into a 1-2 year contract They will suggest an expensive service contract and will screw when you need it.
If they're unable to schedule simple upgrades how can I trust them to protect my property. It's a proven fact that ADT is a terrible company and I'll be looking at other security options. I use Simplisafe for other properties and will consider them; cheaper, user installation and cheap components.
Calif provides that if there are tech no-shows without any warning consumers can seek damages of $600/occurrence. I'll be looking into this and I suggest that others do the same.
DO NOT USE ADT/SAFE STREET! YOU'LL BE SORRY! As others have said, I'd give them zero stars if possible.
EDIT: I was offered the same apologies and promises as below the first time and the second time but too little, too late. Listen to others on this forum and don't waste your time and fall for their empty promises. ADT/Safe Streets speaks with forked tongues and is totally mismanaged and out of control. There are other security businesses that deserve your time and $s. I'll be proceeding with a small claims complaint in my county and lodge a complaint with Calif Consumer Affairs.
EDIT: As of 10/13 no corporate call back and they keep calling to make another appt!! Float a $1000 no show/late deposit and I'll consider it! Otherwise, leave me alone!
ADT is the Slimiest Company EVER - STAY AWAY!!!
I honestly don't even know where to start with this review, this company has wronged my family so many times this year.
The customer service is horrendous, my wife was on the phone for 3 hours today and there was no resolution or budging on ADT's behalf. The sneakiness of the contract language is downright disgusting. Technicians will inform you and the contract will say something completely different according to ADT customer service.
We were told that if we moved houses, that there would be no charge to move the equipment from our current house to our new house by the technician... NOW, ADT customer service is saying that this was wrong, they will train better... give me a break, how ridiculous. This company will not honor their word.
On top of that, the cancellation fees are otherworldly. We are being asked to pay $3,250 to terminate services with ADT. Yes, $3,250, that was not a typo. On top of that, the services provided did not WORK the majority of the time we were paying for it!
If someone stepped in to make the problem better, I would respect ADT as a company. But locking people into contracts and threatening absurd amounts of money to terminate is not how to run a business. STAY AWAY FROM ADT AT ALL COSTS...

I could not possibly list all of the issues that I have had with ADT Customer Service over the years but suffice it to say…they are NOT “Always There!” And when the equipment breaks down (constantly), you are out of luck because they don’t even know what system you have so it takes forever for them to walk you through a fix on the keypad because although you give them a comprehensive description of the equipment, ADT gives you steps to follow that don’t relate to your equipment! Then you are told that because they couldn’t fix it over the phone “a tech will call you in 24 - 48 hours to schedule an appointment to come out to fix the problem” but they never call. The last time that I was actually able to successfully make an appointment to have a faulty zone sensor replaced, it took me an hour and fourteen minutes on the phone with a manager. Oh, and I asked to have the tech call me on my cell 1/2 hour before they arrived because I am the caretaker for the property and the owner would not be home and I didn’t want to have to wait from 8am - noon for ADT to arrive. We had not heard from ADT and didn’t trust them to call my cell so we arrived at the home at 10am. At 10 minutes before noon we received a call from ADT (ON THE OWNERS HOME PHONE, NOT MY CELL!) telling me that they were going to have to reschedule because they didn’t have a tech available!!! I was told that a tech would call me to reschedule but I told him that I wouldn’t hold my breath because I had heard so many apologies, and so many promises to call my cell within 24 - 48 hours (I have given them the cell number so many times and have been told that they “wrote it in the notes of the account”) that I am starting to get the feeling that they are doing this on purpose! Can so many people from one company be that incompetent?!? The owner of the property is actively looking for a replacement and I hope that they find one soon so I NEVER have to deal with ADT again!!! By the way, I am unable to set the alarm while we are waiting for this issue to be fixed so the owner is paying for a service that they are not getting leaving their 2 million dollar home vulnerable!! Thanks ADT for keeping us un-safe!
Please consider another company when…
Please consider another company when searching for home security. ADT is a predatory company that exploits its customers with long contracts and unreasonable costs for equipment upgrades. You would be much better off getting a system from Lowes, Home Depot. etc. ADT is a leech looking to suck your money from you on a monthly and yearly basis.
ADT Customer Service is the WORST!
Set my alarm when I went away for a four day trip. Came home to an error message. Called thr customer service line, waited 12 minutes for someone to answer, talk to a woman who sounded like it was her first day, had to repeat the error code to her over 10 times and she kept putting me on hold. When she finally came back she said i would need to talk to a virtual tech. I say Ok, I'll wait. She said oh no sir, we have to schedule an appointment and the first available appointment is Monday. So now my home is to go unprotected until Monday. What a false sense of security. But they certainly expect me to pay my bill on time. Will be changing providers next week.
Literally steals your money with unauthorized charges!
If I could give this company negative stars, I would. They STEAL money they they are not entitled to with charges that are not approved and do not let you remove your payment information from your account, so they can just have their hands in your money whenever they want. We moved while under a 3 year contract with them and it has been nothing short of an absolute nightmare. We were told when we moved to leave all of our old equipment and the new equipment would be installed in our new house with no extra charges and our service would be transferred over. That is a complete joke and not at all what happened. I have called so many times I can’t even count them to get this figured out and every single rep is an absolute airhead and knows NOTHING about what they are talking about. You’re told something completely different by EVERY rep. When we moved, our old account was “accidentally cancelled” instead of transferred and we were charged a ridiculous $2000 cancellation fee and they withdrew $400 from our account WITH NO AUTHORIZATION TO DO SO. I had taken off the easy pay option thinking they would have to send me a bill if I did since they won’t let you remove your payment info completely. Clearly not, they can just take your money whenever the hell they please. They make it absolutely hell in a handbag to do ANYTHING and transfer you 50 times everytime you call. Now they have admitted that this was THEIR mistake and said we “should” get a refund of the $400. The first person said 2-3 days, well surprise surprise, that didn’t happen. Now they say 7-10 days. We’ll see but I’m not counting on it because they have never followed through on anything before. I’ll be filing fraudulent activity with my bank and letting EVERYONE i know to NEVER use ADT. The absolute worst of the worst and I’m about to cancel everything, let them send me a bill, and let it rot in collections. But let me go cancel and change my debit card first so they don’t just take out whatever the hell they feel like taking.
Edit to say- now they have changed their minds again and say that the $400 unauthorized withdrawal was valid and we won’t be refunded. This company is an absolute joke of a bunch of liars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

If you are a private home owner, just know. You need to be an IT tech before you get an ADT system. If you have any problems with you system, guess what? You will be troubleshooting it with an IT tech from ADT over the phone. I have to say, I have been paying full price including the $800 installation cost to have half a system working.
My router died almost the same day it was installed.

I hope you have lots of patience and knowledge about networking devices and VPNs, otherwise, your ADT experience will become painful.
Finally, they offered to send someone out since my system is brand new. At this point, my patience was gone and I was looking elsewhere for home security. I would rather be robbed by a local thief than by a conglomerate like ADT.
New update: ADT is not sending anyone out. I had to setup a virtual call for the following day. $1200 and have limited service. I hope enough people can see this.
New update 9/25/2021: Virtual call went nowhere. Just keep dragging me along until now I'm over a month from installation. The service tech had me unplug and restart the camera 4 times, said she would submit my query for the next available time to have a tech contact me. She said they would call when the next available appointment is available. Hopefully I can downgrade the system and have the cameras removed so I can get a cheaper bill. No sense in paying for something that is not being provided.
I wait with anticipation to hear from you ADT...hopefully this year.

Under no circumstances should anyone get a long term contract with ADT. We were forced to downsize due to health problems and we couldn’t move our equipment to our new location and even though ADT was not providing us with any services we were forced to pay out the balance of the contract through 2026, a sum of over $2,300.00 for no services whatsoever. Being on Social Security Disability as our only income it was tough coming up with that money. NEVER use ADT.

Since you’re not able to relocate the services the balance of the agreement is valid. We do see that the payment for the equipment has been processed. The remaining balance is 75% of the remaining monitoring agreement that was on the account. We’re not able to waive the full balance that’s due on the account. We can offer 30% off of the remaining balance of $2366.71, the amount that would be due is $1656.71. Once that balance is paid we will apply the discount.

ADT doesn't' deserve any stars. I have been with the company for 3 years and I have had the absolute worst experience. The equipment is outdated and over priced. Do not get ADT. If you do please remember to cancel 30 days in advance or they will charge you the full amount for 3 months for one month. I never experience a company with such horrible service. Beware I didn't go into detail because I don't like to slander companies but please be aware because you will be in contract for 3 years.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Billing is all over the place. They think they should be allowed to do 2 separate ACH charges on your bank account, and send 1 bill showing only 1 charge. Their billing is misleading. Then says it’s perfectly fine that their representative deletes your payment source, instead of deactivating the ACH authorization. In over 20 years with them, the last 3 months have been the worst.
BEWARE OF ADT!!!
Ill make this quick. I bought my house in October 2020. It took me until now to realize how badly ADT screwed me over. they charge me $81 a month for essentially a touchscreen and 3 wireless door sensors and a doorbell... I want to buyout my ADT contract that is, 5 years by the way, and they informed me that it would be $2283 for the buyout. I didn't like that because the amount I owe isn't worth what I got in terms of service or product. But, I was willing to pay out of my pocket so that I didn't have to do business with ADT ever again. The way I got the amount for the buyout was calling. I asked "What is the TOTAL cost of my buyout?" 2 separate reps on two separate phone calls said $2283. The only reason I called 2 times, is because the first person I spoke with never sent me an emailed copy of my Contract like I asked for. Then, I call today to cancel and I am informed that the previous two reps conveniently didn't tell me that it will cost $2852 because of something they left out... I was willing to pay $2283 to cancel but not $2852. This is where it gets good... The reason I wanted to leave ADT is because they SABATOGED MY SYSTEM. I have a new home with a prebuilt very expensive setup with window sensors and all. I wanted to use my houses existing setup that came with the new house build, and ADT assured me they can use the houses built setup and add the screen and doorbell camera (keep in mind I am using ADT because I had no idea who else to use). THEY SNIPPED MY WIRES TO MY WHOLE SYSTEM. My system is not useable any longer (I have pictures to prove). Then, they installed their products and put staples on my walls with exposed wires... All in all I got ripped off. After getting ripped off and seeing what they did to me, I was STILL willing to pay $2283 to cancel (that is how bad I wanted away from them). Now I want to press in because of what ADT's response was to me when I brought this to their attention. They told me that they assumed I snipped my own wires in my house. Not only do they overcharge, not update notes, install crappy equipment to match the crappy install, they also accuse me of doing something like that. I WANT TO NEVER BE AFFILIATED WITH ADT AGAIN!!! They didn't have anything to say when I asked them how they thought I felt. I asked to get a copy of my previous phone calls recordings and copy of notes and of course they wouldn't provide that information to me. In fact, she didn't even answer me... I get the people I spoke to, this is just their jobs right? Who wants to work for a company like this. It took 2 minutes to read this, Please take 10 seconds to share this and post to ADT on social media so that nobody else goes through what I have.

Adt sucks
Adt sucks. Their equipment has to be purchased and it is expensive. The technicians that came to my house began to install the equipment before telling how much it would cost. Then about half way thru the install the main guy with the crew said they needed 4,000.00 for the equipment.
They installed a smart lock on my back door and when it didn’t cover the hole used by the previous door knob, they said that was the best they could do and left- leaving me with the hole in the door.
Go on line and purchase the ring security system- it’s cheaper and better
Service is very terrible
Service is very terrible. I have had nothing but problems. Every time I call for service they charge me but nothing gets fix. I have called at least 6 times for the same thing. Then they don’t want to fix it. You pay every month but crap service.
They want to charge me to solve THEIR technical problem??!?
I have been with ADT since 2003. In late 2014, I had a Pulse system installed (with some difficulties). Since then things have gone along OK, for the most part, and free replacement batteries for both my panels when needed was a nice touch.
In August I got two letters, five days apart, telling me that my panel had a 3G modem (which will soon be unsupported) and that they were going to send me something called a CellBridge to solve this. Then…it didn’t come and it didn’t come.
Then, a little less than two weeks ago we got a call from someone at ADT to set up an appointment to upgrade my panel. The technician came last Monday (a week ago), thrashed around for a bit, consulted with someone else, and left after telling me he could not upgrade the panel and that it wasn’t upgradeable.
Last Friday I got an email from ADT telling me that I should call them right away to resolve this problem, and cited the incomplete work order.
Today I called the number given, and after waiting awhile talked to a pleasant woman named Stephanie, who determined that CellBridge is not a solution for me and confirmed that my TSSC panel was not upgradeable. She sent me to sales.
After another 10 minutes or so on the phone, Natalie in Sales basically offered me two choices: do some kind of an upgrade that would cost me $10 more a month (it just went up $5 to over $82/mo two months ago) or take a new FIVE year contract. I told her that’s not happening—that neither option was acceptable—and she sent me to “contract management”. After another 20 minutes on hold during which I heard a number of nearly unintelligible ads for ADT I finally got a live person, but the connection was so bad that I couldn’t understand her (no clear name) and she couldn’t understand me. But she was able to give me a direct number to call. So I called that number. By this time I was on the phone for 42 minutes.
I called the other number and after another 16 minutes on hold (at least this time I could understand the self-congratulatory ads) I got to Lorraine. I reiterated the above to her, and she basically told me that she couldn’t help me and sent me BACK to “contract management” and told me the wait would be about 10 minutes.
Twenty minutes later, someone named Darien (I think) finally answered. I reiterated the story so far and she basically told me “I can’t guarantee you won’t have to sign another contract”. I told her that I wasn’t doing that and the line went silent. My iPhone still thinks it’s connected (now 70 minutes into this session) at 800-692-1090, but I don’t think there is anyone on the other side since Darien cut off.
I was adamant that I was NOT signing another contract nor was I taking yet another raise in monthly costs (they have nearly doubled since the Pulse system was installed in 2014 already) in order for ADT to solve THEIR OWN TECHNICAL ISSUE.
So this is where I am now….shopping for other systems I guess. I really would rather just get a new panel, but I am not going to pay them to solve their own problem.
Ironically, 3G going away is also an issue with my Kia Soul EV and its app/web function interface for things like turning on the heat in the car before a trip. Kia has told me “we didn’t warn you, but we aren’t going to fix it, so get over it.” Not too cool either.
Added two days later:
Yesterday I called contract management again using the direct number I was given by Lorraine above (866-656-8883). After another ~15 minutes on hold I got someone named Shawnee (I think) to whom I retold basically the same story as I’ve written above, while trying to remain calm. She apologized to me for the “fun” I’d had the day before, looked up a few things, and finally told me that a CellBridge device would work for me and that I was eligible to receive one, which would be “drop shipped” to me at no cost.
I still have a Cove system sitting in an online shopping cart, but I will give a little time for the CellBridge to appear and if it does I will try to set it up and see if it works better for me than for another reviewer here (Kim Finkel). Until it’s here and working, the review stays one star, though.
Added later:
The CellBridge arrived last Friday as promised. It doesn’t work (will not connect to 3G—so my system—or 4G). The box is quite a bit bigger than I expected from the pictures—because it is almost all a lead-acid gel battery for backup power. After leaving it powered up for several hours waiting for it to connect to cellular service, it took it over two days to run back down and stop beeping once per minute like a dying smoke detector. I am away right now, but will have to get back on the phone with ADT next week. I am NOT looking forward to this. And this time they’d better have a quick, good answer or I am cancelling.
One year later: I eventually got a new panel for free, and a reduced monthly rate, but did have to take a two-year contract. What a mess!
For those considering ADT security…
For those considering ADT security service I highly recommend that you don’t use this service. First they are not a security service as the name implies, they only monitor when the system is armed and a breach occurs through lifting or breaking the glass windows or doors. My experience and issue with ADT is on their camera devices. I paid a lot of money for their system and it has not worked much since I started with ADT about 10-months ago. We have had a few suspicious activities that have occurred on our street and had our cameras been operating and functioning properly, could have been helpful to the police. Sadly the door and street cameras our home has from ADT have failed every time and has not recorded anything for the suspicious activities. Our neighbors camera works fine but their camera angle was not adequate whereas our camera may have provided a much better video as the angle to the street is great from our hone had it been functioning properly. This is the third time in a few months where we produced nothing because of faulty ADT camera equipment. Our cameras are set to capture a 30-second clips once a car, person or animal has entered into our designated trigger zone. Also beware that When ADT does a software update to their app, our setting are reverted back to the original default of the app which is contrary to our settings. The technician that installed our equipment never mentioned this critical information about the app changing setting to their default on the app. Additionally the ADT app is out dated and you can do much better with a Ring device or other similar camera. The customer service us less than helpful and ADT wants to charge a service fee to fix their broken equipment. My door camera had to be replaced in less than 6-months, the street camera consistently fails to operate properly and requires reset or troubleshoot every week or so. Based on my experience and for the monthly price I pay, a homeowner should expect better but ADT does NOT deliver the quality they say they do. After my first month of starting the service, I have had nothing but problems with their equipment: the doorbell camera had to be replaced, street camera consistently not functioning 70% of the time, garage and entrance door sensor-had to be replaced and one of the operating key pads-the battery shows a failure in less than a month. All the ADT equipment installed was new and the bottom line is I don’t feel safe for my household security with ADT.
Garbage customer service
My mom passed away but before she passed she told me tonget rid of the ADT camera when I have a chance to. Its unneccessary and dads income has been cut in half. Customer service said they could help me and kept giving me the runaround for over an hour.... i have serious anxiety with phone calls so not cool at all... final lady said they were unable to help me. Basically wanted me to pull my mother out of the grave to get her information she wanted. These people are awfuk and completely unprofessional...

Dishonest, crocked, take ur money, make you sign a 3 yr contract and tell you it's a 2 yr. I've been paying for the service when I cant use it and dont need it any more. When i found out I was in a 3 yr contract they said well you signed it as a courtesy to you we can offer you a monthly rate of 14.99 for one yr. That's Wrong. When the tech came out and had me sign the tablet he scrolled all the way down and said ok just sign here this is two 2 yr service agreement. Then he scrolled down another page and said this is another agreement just sign here. I'm thinking I can trust the tech without sitting here to read all this fine print that would take forever and then I would get a bill from them because there tech was here too long because I was trying to read all the contract. Long story short they dont do what they say they will. No heart. Who would make you pay something every month you can litterly not use. They gave me older equipment then I started out with in my original contract but charged me more. I have no land line so my system will not even communicate with them should I ever have a break in or security issue. I'm so tired of big corporations taking advantage of those who dont have it like that. Say yourself money time and all. If I could give negative stars I would.
Absolutely TERRIBLE Customer Service
I scheduled an appointment for an in-home consultation with ADT, I could not find the e-mail to see what time it was scheduled for so I reached out to ADT via on-line chat. The 1st person claimed to not be able to tell the time, only the date and they were incredibly rude and dumped my chat session. The second person was able to give me the arrival window, but was not able to provide me with an e-mail address that I could submit a complaint to regarding my 1st chat session, only a toll free number that I'd have to call, which in today's world is really backwards. Fast forward and my appointment is TODAY with an arrival time for the ADT representative from 8am to 12pm...FOUR HOURS. As I type this, the time is 12:10pm. There is a note on my front door instructing the ADT representative to not even bother knocking (if they ever show up). We never received a phone call or e-mail letting us know they were running late. The customer service is horrible and we haven't even had the service installed yet, we're trying to give them money, we ought to be the people they are being the nicest to...NO WAY we'd ever go with them now!
