ADT aka rip off
ADT,top of the line prices for pis*poor service. I made a appt for a tech to come n clear a fault in my cameras. “NO charge” the (representative says) . The tech calls the day of the appt says “ Did they tell u it would be $180.00 for me to straighten out the issue” (tech was to lazy to even show up an tell me).Your stuck in a contract n ever time u need them to straighten out anything with these cameras they charge u out the butt Pis* poor business n customer service. If u read all these 1 star reviews and still get ADT service u have money to set on fire..Absolutely horrible 👎👎👎👎👎. Wynnona Knightner

This is the worst company
This is the worst company. They do not care about their customers. They will not provide information for their law department. This system hasn’t worked since day 2 and they did not offer to send someone to fix it until i tried to cancel it because it was not working. Rashad employee number 339207 which is probably made up, refused to give me the information for the legal department which as a consumer I have a right to. He refused to help me in any other way by connecting me to someone who could cancel the service. You will be on hold for 30 min to 2 hours. You will also be treated like an inconvenience. They do not help they do not care and they only want to keep you locked into a contract. You are better off using a system like ring. This is a nightmare.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY - CON ARTISTS
My father, 88 years old, has recently been charged £763.22 in the space of a month not including the £467.50 annual maintenance charge, a total of £1230.72. Two of these invoices are for the same fault over a two day period. ADT should be ashamed of themselves, absolute con artists, if i could give them zero stars i would. One engineer was on site for 5 mins but logged 45mins and charged £268 for the privilege of it going wrong again the next day. Same fault and charged another £268 to return and repair. They have refused to credit the charge. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

One of the worst companies I’ve ever…
One of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. If you need to cancel your service, please allow at least 3–5 hours on hold to do so, as there is no option to do so online. Why? Perhaps so they can harass you for at least an additional hour in an attempt to convince you to upgrade your service instead of cancel. Was continually charged for services even though there was no communication from my system (meaning the “service” and monitoring were non-existent). When I finally got through the process to cancel my service with Account Management, I was told by Billing that a refund/credit for the time I was without service while still paying was unable to be issued after services were cancelled. Information that, Billing stated, should have been known to Account Management. After discussing this with Account Management and asking why they would cancel a service before sending to Billing for a credit they claimed that they “didn’t know.” Clearly a company who will do anything and everything to take advantage of its customers. Don’t bother asking for a supervisor either. “They don’t deal with that sort of thing.”

ADT Sucks
From day one of ADT coming out and installing their "NEW" alarm system we have had nothing but problems, we can't drop anything, place a nail in our walls, God forbid we make a loud noise the fire alarm goes off, we can't even set out security alarm when we're gone because it goes off when our fur babies move around. We have tried to call and get a technician on the phone, that's impossible, if we're not told we can only talk to a technician after 7 p.m., we're told to run some test, while we're talking to someone reading off of a script, we have been hung up on the last 3 times we have called, we're tired of walking on pins and needles due to lack of qualified professionals employed there. If we could cancel the contract without paying we would, at this point our alarm system is useless. DO NOT GET AN ADT Alarm system those people are thieves, there has to be something we can do about them 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Do you realize that ADT is NOT responding to these complaints anymore because people realize they are ALL BS and have NO intention of ameliorating ANY problems or concerns you have about your failing systems? They are a SCAM run by con men. STOP PAYING THESE FELONS!!!!!!!!!

Adt is the WORST
Adt is the WORST! I have a very extravagant home security system and against my better judgement allowed ADT to convince me I needed the warranties/maintenance/equipment protection plan which is a monthly fee in addition to the monitoring fee. My system is less than 6 months old and the installation was less than stellar and it took no less than 6 trips to finally get the system to work properly(this is after ADT charged me for one thing hardware wise but actually installed a much cheaper version. Now my night vision doesn’t work on a couple cameras and all ADT says “if you aren’t home to trouble shoot it there is nothing WE can do!” Troubleshoot it? I did the night vision isn’t working. This is a cctv system so it is a hardware issue of defective ir illuminators or a photocell switch sensor or something. Why am I paying a monthly fee to change ver the installation and equipment but ADT refuses to send a technician and wants me to troubleshoot???? I did troubleshoot it don’t work as designed. Avoid ADT AT ALL COSTS. Expensive sub par equipment and installation and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE

Fitted a alarm quoted a contract price then increased when spoke to operator said nothing to do with him.Think twice before purchasing anything fro ADT alarms.Whole affair horrendous.

Terrible! Agreed a price for upgrade then continually took higher amount for months. Don’t reply to complaints. Don’t return phone calls. Awful customer service.

I turned off alarm 3 months ago. After 2 years I'm still getting false alarms. Safetouch came over 6 times and still didn't fix problems. If you don't want to keep dealing with local police I'd advise you to self monitor. It's cheaper to be robbed than use ADT

In the last 24 hours and hardly no help from ADT…
In the last 24 hours I have called ADT more then 9 times trying to resolve an issue from 1:15 am in the morning where my alarm system was going off. The first call a woman was polite but the issue was not resolved. The second was a man where I stated How the hell do I turn this off as it had went off 2 more times. He yelled at me and said “You will not use that language” it was directed at him but my system. The third was a lady who hung up on us as she did not know our system and was stating we had to take the screws out. There were no screws. Two more no help. The 6th woman was so nice and very sincere. The tech I asked to call me back and he just closed our ticket after stating he would call me back in 5 minutes. The next lady was very helpful and the last tech was helpful but then hung up on me. I am a Customer. I Pay for this service. No Customer should ever be treated this way. I am very disappointed and disgusted in the lack of training these so called professionals have. This company I would not recommend and am thinking of canceling myself.

If I can leave 0 stars I would was transferred several times to simply clarify the orders under my so call free installation and repeated my issue at hand simply to be transferred finally asked for the Floor manager Tasha and she was extremely rude and refused to help yet spent all her time making excuses and argumentative as I simply wanted the issue at hand clarified and taken care off I gave them a second chance just to simply mess up again

INCOMPETENT!!!
The right arm does not know what the left arm is doing! Customer Service should receive an F grade for being incompetent and clueless! When we were broken into at 3am in the morning ADT never responded or dispatched alarm to the proper authorities. Never notified us to update our system and have had continuous problems with billing. Never trust your life to this company!!!!!!

Called for a quote - got harassed for weeks
I called to get a quote only. I ended up agreeing to a free in-home consultation (with an option to install on-site) because I thought "what can it hurt?" Now I'm being harassed with phone calls, voicemails, and emails every day, sometimes multiple per day. The "free consultation" turned into an "installation"... clever wording trick there. DO NOT give these people your information. They are like vultures. I only wanted a cost estimate and they escalated and harassed me to the point that I will absolutely never become a customer with them—horrible over-the-top sales and extremely predatory vibe.

Horrible customers service
We been having service with ADT for the past 10 months, only 3 months was worth of service,we paid over $1000.00 for equipments, plus 79.91 monthly, but no service, I called over and over, Nothing, spending hours on the phone waiting, chatting nothing, so last week I was at work , the Alarm went off, ADT called,text me there's a breaking in at my house, cameras always offline , I do have full speed and high speed internet, the problem is ADT, so The was on the way, But ADT couldn't tell me what happened or they can't see from their end, from 10 Am till 12 I was on the phone trying to figure out what was happening in my house, no answers from ADT, so we decided that was the last drop of our patience,so at this point I had my husband on the phone, we were treated so badly, we've been transferred back and forth to 7 different people,none of them knew what the heck they were doing or talking about ,ADT failed us, taking our MONEY no service,we asked to cancel the service with no termination fee, all the reps kept on lying and transferring us ,they claimed the did not know how to do it.ADT is a scam ,I'm very disappointed, I hope no one will by no service from ADT.

I waited over two hours to cancel my…
I waited over two hours to cancel my service. I think they do this to make it hard for people to quit. It left me a horrible feeling about their integrity and customer service. I cancelled it "today" but they will stop charging me when my billing cycle ends. Is this illegal?

The worst incompetent customer service…
The worst incompetent customer service I've ever experience from a service company. They were fast before signing the contract; once the contract was signed it turned to the worst. Just for a simple add on to my current service, I've been more that 2 hours on the phone; transferring from one dept. to another one and unable to answer my question. I will recommend friends to go with another security sys provider, never ADT.

I was promised a refund in the amount…
I was promised a refund in the amount of 278.00 on March 13,2023 and followed up with an email confirming that I would receive my refund in 10 days if it was done through debit or ACH transfer. Every time I talk with someone they claim that it is in process. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! THEY WILL PULL YOUR MONEY OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT BUT PLAY WITH YOUR MONEY!!!! Stay clear!!!!

My alarm system went bad
My alarm system went bad. We would cut off the system upon entering the house but the system wouldn’t alert ADT that we cut the alarm off . They repeatedly sent out the police to check. We would answer the door and say nothings wrong. They sent 4 service men out to repair the system to no avail . I would have to be on the phone over a hour each time just to report that the police showed up again but we cut the system off. I ended up paying Cobb County 500.00 dollars for the false alarms. ADT stated that they would reimburse my money but sent me a letter refusing to pay. Then someone named Jaylen called me and said that they would give me a new system for free due to all I had been through . She even sent me a bunch of videos on how the new system would work. She said she would call and let me know when the new system could be installed. A cruel joke! She never called or returned any of my calls to her extension. I’m done This company is the worst. I’m researching for a new company now.

I was an ADT customer for over 15…the last year has been a disgrace
I was an ADT customer for over 15 years. Although the pricing was never great, I had a fantastic sales person that followed me from one house to another a few times over. I decided to get their camera system at my most recent house. All I can say is $3600 later it is a disaster. My sales rep has been great. I had a six month money back guarantee which he has tried to get me with no avail. After several visits numerous phone calls manager discussions I still am nowhere almost 8 months later my only choice which I will do is to now Suzanne locally it’s fairly easy for $3600 I would just rather have them taken care of my problem, but it is now principle.

Very bad company
Very bad company. It’s been over 2 weeks but still I have not received my money back. Refund was requested on 6/3/2023. The salesman haven’t even acknowledged My email request. Spoke to customer service they have no clue. Managed to speak with someone last week and they advised me that they are going to issue refund but it has been over 8 days and still no refund in my account

I’ve been a ADT customer for six year I…
Poor customer service I’ve been a ADT customer for six year I haven’t had any bad experiences until I went with their wireless system. I upgraded on Dec11/2022 I liked the old wired-in system, but I wanted to add a camera in my backyard when I called my local ADT representative I was told that ADT no longer add on or repair the old wired-in system and in order to add a camera I needed to upgrade to their new wireless systems I spent over $4000 dollars for this upgraded and have had nothing but problems I’ve had a technician at my home three times since I upgraded. I was not told when I went with this new wireless systems I would need to add a protection plan to cover any service calls and any repairs. On Feb.27/2023 I was charged a service fee to replaced one of their upgrade fire, smoke, heat, and carbon detectors that had been going off for a week prior to the technician coming out I called ADT we were still under their ninety day warranty but when the technician arrived it was some confusion between the technicians and ADT if I would be charged or not, ADT told me to have the technician call his supervisor and let him know we shouldn’t be charged, but his supervisor told him not to call him. So we had no other choice but to pay the technician and try to get our money back from ADT. The technician realized that the fire, smoke, heat and carbon detectors was one that was a recall and we were still in that ninety day warranty window and should not be charge, and he would explain this in his written explanation that this was in fact a recall. I called ADT to make sure that I would be reimburse, I was told twice from ADT that I would be refunded back my $241.51 and as of March 24/2023 ADT now is refusing to refund me back my $241.51 and their explanation is because i had not added a protection plan never mind that we were still in their ninety day warranty window and the smoke, fire, heat and carbon detector was a recall. This is poor customer service, and they don’t care.

Called waited for more than 30 minutes she took my info put me on hold for 10 minutes then hung up. Did it all over again no one ever took my call!! Horrible service they don't give a crap!!! Use someone else this company sucks!!! Especially the service!!

I would give zero stars if I could
This is the absolute WORST alarm company of all time. We used ADT Blue and when we moved residences our hub wouldn't connect. Despite countless hours on the phone with their outsourced customer service we were unable to connect and paid for service for months with ZERO connection and no one I spoke with at ADT had a shred of concern that we were paying for a service we weren't receiving. When I finally got so fed up I had to cancel service they refused to waive the cancellation fee and charged me $1,500 unless I agreed to stay with ADT. Don't waste your time, money, or energy on this awful organization.
