This was canceled and I wasn’t told about a 30 day cancellation. I was also told there would be no more billing. Now I have another bill. I will be happy to give you as many bad reviews as I can. Didn't deliver as promised. Camera detected only part of the time.

The worst experience ever! Two days and u can not speak to anyone to resolve any issues. You can’r even speak to anyone to cancel your service. I’ve been with them for over 15 years and when u need them for service no help or you have to wait two weeks for service while your home is unsecured. But you still have to pay them for service that they are not providing.

Charged £560+VAT for 30 mins labour, testing a system which auto tests itself anyway...then £360+VAT for every 30 mins there after.... and even then sent a bill for £1600+ for 2 hours... various phone calls and complaints later no one who answers can deal with it. Promises of call backs broken for over 2 weeks.

I will not be signing or referring anyone to ADT. I have not been with them for a year and having problems. My doorbell camera has not been working, they came out 3-4 time and its still a delay, as well as a crap job they done on installation. The customer service will have you on hold for over 3-4 hours. Half there employee doesn’t even know what there doing.

Company has the worst customer service i ever dealt with. Beside 90 min wait time to get someone on the phone, the people on the other end were rude and didn’t have a care in the world about helping customers. Call back? That a joke because that didn’t happen either as promised. Never deal with these people. They take advantage of people especially the elderly. Negative 5 stars. Horrible Customer Service and Junky Equipment
We have ADT in two houses, and while the experience with one has been fine, the experience at the second has been horrible. The panel stopped communicating with the system over one month ago. They tried to have me fix it, which did not work, so we scheduled a service appointment. The service person was over 2 hours late, arriving at 6 p.m. and said he had no experience fixing this issue, but would get on the phone with tech support and figure it out. He made multiple calls to tech support, on speaker, and was put on hold for over 15 minutes each time. Each time, he had to reexplain what was going on. He had no training and had no idea what he was doing, and stayed at our house until 8 p.m., only to tell us the problem couldn't be fixed and we needed to make another (3 + hour!) appointment to have ADT come replace all of the equipment in our house. This was a complete waste of our time. He never even apologized for being two hours late. Now we have to waste another day waiting for adt, not to mention we've been paying for service that we do not have for over one month. This was just installed 2 years ago, so I would never recommend ADT if the equipment fails and has to be replaced every two years.

For the past two years, I spent nearly $2,000 and $60 a month on equipment that can no longer be used. I was charged 435.95 for the remainder of my contract for a service ADT refuses to provide. I was finally granted a refund on 10/13/2022 for $435.95, but it was canceled with ZERO NOTICE. My partner and I have spent over 100 hours transferred to every department because there is no consistent protocol.

I was on hold for less than 10 minutes and a representative answered didn’t ask for any information asked what my problem was I explained. Never stated that I was gonna be on hold again and never received a call back. This is terrible. I hope that they start training people better. I’m at the point I don’t recommend this company at all
DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY
We have several facilities with this company. We have been customers for around 15 years. We have an extended service contract with them on all facilities so that when something goes wrong, they do not charge us to come out and repair it. However we had one bad sensor at one facility and that cost us $81.19 and one bad battery at another facility and that cost us $144.84. When I inquired about the charges I was informed that they "changed the contract". They never notified us of the change or told us when we called. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THE ONLY SECURITY THEY WORRY ABOUT IS THEIRS!!!

I just purchased a house in which the prior owners used ADT to monitor security including fire. Salesman reached out to go over system. I asked that he just send me pricing on continuing monitoring. He insisted we meet to go over “upgrades” and he was not going to send quote without meeting in person and he got really pushy. I said I was no longer interested. He has since in the last 2 hours sent the quotes and 3 texts last one asking what my issue is. I have not responded to any. I thought i would check out reviews. Looks like a company circling the drain.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars or less. If there’s a problem with any of your equipment, they want YOU to fix it and they’re hesitant to send out a tech. When they do send out a tech they want to charge you for every petty thing they do. They overcharge for their crappy equipment, the customer service is terrible (I sat on hold for 3 hours today), if you actually liked their service (yeah, right) and you’re going to relocate, well you’re going to have to sign a new agreement because you can’t move their equipment from one house to another. They’re terrible with people, talk to you like you’re stupid when you’re actually able to speak to someone, they overcharge, and their equipment messes up constantly - all that makes them undependable and the ONLY thing you want from an alarm company is dependability. Use your money for something better.

After 7 months (6 months is the cutoff when you cannot cancel service without an early termination fee), the smoke/CO/heat sensor alarm went off at 3 AM indicating low battery (alert that the battery only had 2 weeks of power left -why the alarm needs to go off at 3 AM is idiocy). I spend 5 hours on hold the next day waiting to get into contact with technical support. At lease twice that day, I waited on hold for an hour to have someone pick up the phone and immediately hang up. I griped and complained and asked for a supervisor. They said a supervisor would call in the next two days. No supervisor ever called. A representative did call, but she said that the only thing she could do is transfer me to technical support which would be a 1 hour hold time. I said I could not wait an hour - I had asked for a call from the supervisor to avoid waiting on hold in the first place. She stated that she needed to document that she had offered the option to wait for technical support on hold and said that I could call back later when the wait times were less. All this time the console was beeping from the alert to change the battery in the detector. They never sent anyone to resolve the issue and I was never called by a supervisor. I then called back 5 days later, waited on hold for 1 hour to have someone pick up and immediately hang up. At that point, I decided I needed to cancel ADT service because they weren't worth the grief. I called ADT and was transferred and placed on 15 minute holds around 5 times. I finally spoke with someone who told me there would be an early cancellation fee which amounted to around $400. ADT is #6 on the review list of best security systems. This type of treatment is unprofessional and not worth the money you pay. The executive leadership looks like it's prioritizing the bottom line over customer service.

Where do I start. It all started off great 8 years ago hence 2 stars and not 1 or even 0. Your customer service over the past 8 long years has declined rapidly. Nothing but problem after problem then you push it off to say it's our fault your equipment stopped working. We replace things on our end and...........still nothing on yours! Now you want to charge us to come out and fix a problem on your equipment nope I'm done have a nice day! You stink! If this wasn't the internet I'd have a few more explicit word for you but all I have is it's been great knowing ya! DO NOT GET THEM!

I would rate a zero if i could.My cameras have not worked in 2 months. We have been customers for over 9 years and are currently looking for a new company. I have called for 2 months and got no where with your team members they have no customer service training. They never have an answer but always wants you to pay more. Very disatisfied. Do not purchase there service, recently widowed I have been trying to cancel my service and they keep putting me on hold and no one answers, I remove my credit card information from my account and it doesn't remove says they will charge. I had previous issue with my system and they messed up the alarm so bad and told me they couldn't fix it but I could upgrade my system , but the tech said it would take him hours...after being on hold for hours for a few days, called and spoke with debra explained my situation and she said she had to transfer me to another person back on hold again, jessica stated there is a disconnect fee...I have no contract and there charging me fee plus they wont cancel for thirty days more money I cant afford...

ADT sold me a 10k alarm system for my home approximately 3 months ago . I have been trying to get one of the cc cameras fixed for the last month with no success . The technician has been here several times and they still can not get it right .

Very disappointed that within less then a year with ADT, i been having back to back issues with there services. The door bell doesnt ring and very delayed, its been the 3rd replacement already. They over charge on there camera system and when calling customer service for assistance there is over a hour plus wait time. Spoke to a lady named keke and she just transferring. people with a lady named keke acted like she didn’t want to do her job. Was transferred multiple times and no one know what the heck there doing. Im done and never will going with them again

My company has been with ADT for the last 21years but apparently when i tried to cancel my contract I’m still in a contract until 2025 !! I was not responsible for any call outs or service/equipment except for the back up battery, which i fully understand. But for the last 2 years they have tried to charge me for call outs replacement keypads (that have never worked since installed and still don’t). I currently have an invoice for nearly $800 for substandard equipment. When you try to call ADT they’re rude, speak over you and cut you off if you argue a good case. DO NOT USE ADT COMMERCIAL look elsewhere

Legit, the cameras record every thing. Even when you change the stuff on the web site. So before the month is up you get a notification letting you know you have reached your quota of uploaded recordings. So now unless your alarm is set nothing saves on the cameras can only see if it is live. Can't see when Amazon dropped off a package and when it was stolen from my front porch while I was on the back porch. Thanks ADT you're garbage

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. Their equipment was not working without our knowledge and we got burglarized. Not only do they not offer any refund, rebate, etc. because supposedly it was equipment we purchased, but they are charging US $250 to get out of the contract. ON TOP OF THIS, I've spent a total of 15 actual hour on hold trying to get the service cancelled, getting tossed from one person to another.
